IT Technician & Cybersecurity Student · Tacoma Community College
Building secure networks, solving hard problems,
and making technology work for people.
01 / About Me
I'm Lindsey R. English Jr. — U.S. Army veteran, IT technician, cybersecurity student, and hands-on builder of networks, servers, and secure systems.
After a decorated military career and 9+ years in security leadership — including supervising multi-site operations and serving as a Western Washington Recruiter — I pivoted fully into IT, where I now support operations at Tacoma Community College as a Work Study IT Support Tech.
I'm completing my Associate's in Networking & Cybersecurity (3.9 GPA) in June 2026, then moving into a BAS in Advanced Networking & Data Security in the fall. I'm a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the TCC IT Club, and I hold a Cisco Hardware Basics certification and a TCC Help Desk Certificate.
I'm driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and the challenge of making technology work smoothly for the people who rely on it.
